You have found the home page of the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association. HLCCA is a non-profit organization comprised of collectors, antiques dealers, historians, etc., who share an interest in the dinnerware and other pottery products that were, and are, produced by the Homer Laughlin China Co. / Fiesta Tableware Company (1873- ). HLCCA offers a wide range of services, events, and other benefits for people whose interest levels vary from mild curiosity to sophisticated collecting.
The Dish
Our quarterly magazine, The Dish produced in full color throughout since v. 2 no. 2 (Winter 1999-2000), is the premier communication tool for, and among, the HLC / FTC collecting community. Each issue contains 5-7 feature articles whose topics range from individual collector's stories to in-depth discussions of particular lines or decorative schemes, and from biographical essays on noted artists or artisans involved with the creation of HLC / FTC products to reviews of new books on collecting HLC / FTC wares. The Dish also includes regular reports on numerous Association Activities. The HLCCA also has a book on Fiesta, Harlequin, and Kitchen Kraft.
The HLCCA Conference
HLCCA holds an annual 2 1/2-day Conference during the summer. The Conference offerings include seminars, workshops, and multi-media presentations, auction, collectors' exhibits, a dealers' show-and-sale, and most importantly, an opportunity for HLC / FTC collectors to meet, greet, and network with other collectors who share similar interests.
Online Store
We also operate an online store which offers many FTC produced pottery items that are not readily available from retail stores. Since 1999, HLCCA has commissioned exclusive pieces of pottery. These pieces are available only to members of HLCCA.
